"Basically an interesting course. Some tricky holes. However the condition of fairways and greens are not that good at the moment. Most annoying were the placement of the yellow tees in the t boxes. Broken rakes in bunkers, the edges are overgrown, oval tea boxes. a shame in such a nice place. the track deserves better condition. "We knew the extremly challenging course from 2 years ago. Buggy is recommended. The course is still in wonderful condition. In September it was very busy and to attract even more average golfers and create even more traffic, most tee boxes were moved forward. (yellow to blue) :-( Staff is very friendly, tee times are supervised and shifted if it useful for the gameplay. Only big disadvantage: Careless od better reckless greenkeeper team! Could you imagine to be encircled by mowing machines on the green(s)?. Or greenkeeping standing in the middle of a narrow fairway just waving to keep playing.. "Quite nice course with a couple of very narrow fairways not-that-easy but interesting. Greens acceptable. ProShop staff very easy and friendly. Restaurant Seve's Kitchen and bar leaved us mixed emotions. After 1 of the staff borrowed us a cigarette (!), the meat was quite good but the Tiramisu was absolutely not eatable (rotten taste). "Our tee off was scheduled at 1pm but due to a lack of "electrically charged" buggies we had to wait until some other players had finished their courses to then run the course with their respective buggies.Our final start time was more than an hour late which shouldn't be the case...moreover, 2 of the 6 buggies of our group ran out of electricity during our course so they had to wait again until new buggies were brought to them...with the result that there was a lot of congestion on the course...in short, despite the beautiful setting, not a nice experience at Los Arqueros... "Arqueros remains enigmatic, both frustrating and rewarding at the same time. Some of the holes are very tight and lies above/below feet common even on the fairways. Greens were in reasonable condition, but pace of play was good and the staff helpful. You know what you get with Arqueros.
